Thanksgiving in Bancroft!

We were able to go to Bancroft for Thanksgiving. Dewey's mom's parents, Dawna & Norrel Eliason were hosting Thanksgiving for all of us! All of Dewey's siblings and families were able to be there so it was really special! It was a lot of fun! First we played some bb and volleyball with some cousins. The kids had a lot of fun getting to know second cousins! We all gathered to say thanks and eat some turkey!! We played a little more volleyball and visited! It is so wonderful to have family that we love and care about so much. I wished we all lived a little closer so we could do this more often!! I am so thankful for my family and for my husband! I am truly blessed to have wonderful children. Mostly, I am thankful for my Savior, Jesus Christ, and the example that He is for me. I am thankful that I have the knowledge that this life is just the part of the whole picture and that we can return to live in with Jesus again. I am thankful for the plan of salvation and that as we learn from our mistakes we can become better people and become closer to our Father in Heaven.

Decorating the Tree!!

This is my favorite time of year!! I love decorating for Christmas and enjoying this time of year with Family. We put up our decorations on Tuesday, but waited to decorate the tree until Dejah, Brian & Elliot were here on Wednesday!

Snow Fun

We had a wonderful blizzard here in Pocatello, and they actually canceled school the day before they let out for holidays anyway! It worked out great for us because Dewey had Tuesday off but not Wednesday, so we got to play in the snow with DAD!! Here are the snow day pics!

Ruby gets a new taste...

My baby loved this! I thought she might be ready to start eating solids, so I gave it a shot this evening. She is five months old!! She got it right off. I remember with my other children I would put a little rice cereal in a bottle before trying to feed them, but since she doesn't really take a bottle I just thinned it out. She even opened her mouth and was ready! She ate the whole bowl full!!
