GO UTES!!

So I love college football and the Utah Utes, not that I dislike BYU, but if they play Utah, they are out of luck!!! I was so excited to see where Utah is listed on the BCS poll. I would really love to see them play Florida in a BCS bowl!! Wouldn't that be AWESOME???? What type of fan are you?

GeoCaching is a BLAST!!

So, for his birthday, Dewey got a GPS, mostly for this GeoCaching fun to do with the kids. What you do is go online to GeoCaching.com and find a cache near you. Mostly they contain little remnants of previous visitors like a token, pen, or ribbon. Then there usually is a log where you write your code name!! The kids go with him finding TREASURES all over the valley. It really is a lot of fun when you find it. Here are some pics of us finding a cache on the Kirkham trail.

What did you have for lunch today?

I got this idea from Rachel's blog. I think it is interesting how we don't like the same things over and over and over. Well I guess not all of us, because Dewey will eat it, especially if he didn't have to make it! And he loves Mac & Cheese, so do the kids, but I can only eat it about once a month, even though I make it about once a week...LOL! For lunch today, the kids and I had the classic PB&J sandwiches with apple and banana slices and carrot sticks. They do ok with these as long as I choose different fruits and veggies. Their favorite fruit is a fruit salad:

Yummy Fruit Salad

2 cans mandarin oranges
2 sliced bananas
3 scoops of whipped cream
throw in strawberries if you got 'em!

I took these pictures after the Primary Program. I didn't realize how ruffled they look, but aren't they still cute??? I just love kids all dressed up with no where to go!

Halloween Trunk or Treat Fun

For Halloween, Ben was Optimus Prime, Willard was Bumblebee, Joselyn was a very pretty Princess, and I drew wiskers on Ephers because we didn't have a costume for him. Gramma, Brittany and Brad came over for our ward Trunk or Treat, and the kids went around gathering tons of candy! Thankfully, it was still warm and not raining yet!! Don't you just love how you go buy candy to give away, and your kids come back from trick or treating with just as much or more than you bought?? I am sure our dentist just loves this time of year!!! Anyway, the kids had a lot of fun this year!!
