We have been realio, trulio, veryo busy lately! Dewey's schedule has changed and we are trying to adjust and figure things out. Instead of the early morning shift (off at two) Dewey is now working 1pm to 11pm Weekdays, and 10 am to 8 pm Sat & Sun. My poor kids are now faced with sandwiches, cereal, or soup for dinner as I am trying to cope with not having another adult in the evenings. And since Dewey is home in the morning I tend not to get things done because I'd rather hang out with him. He is good to remind me of things that I should be doing. Like getting out the photos and divvying them up between the kids to motivate me to put them in their photo albums. We got each child's FIRST YEAR done... hopefully it won't take as long to do the rest of each of their next years finished!
We also got Dewey's truck dropped off to the shop to be looked at. He had started to change the head gasket himself, and if it hadn't turned so cold (and the fact that his hands are so big they don't exactly fit in tight spaces) he'd have it fixed, as it is, we are down to one car and his motorcycle has a loose seal so he hasn't been using that (not that I want him too when it is wet and cold!!!)!
The twins started basketball and are loving it. They have a great coach who really teaches them skills and they are learning a lot. I am trying to decide what to do about baseball. Dewey is supposed to be able to help coach, but we'll see if that will work out. I am not doing it!! LOL but I will be a great team parent and assist where I can.
