Baseball SEASON....

Okay, we love baseball at our house... It is a Cook tradition!! Not to mention that my dad, Pop, loves baseball too!! Ever since I was a little girl I wanted to play ball. I would drag my dad outside to pitch to me. I even drew a nice big square on our brick wall in AZ that I would pitch to for hours, that is, when I couldn't convince Tim to come and catch for me. As I grew, I fell in love with the catcher's position. I loved being in charge of the game, calling plays and always having the ball... ok, you guessed it I am a ball hog and probably always will be... Just ask the girls I play volleyball and basketball with! Dewey also played ball. His dad would coach his teams and brothers. He grew to love the game, playing, coaching, even umpiring! He can remember every homerun he hit, in fact, his mom was able to keep all his homerun balls... I have them in my room! We are so excited for Spring and BASEBALL SEASON!!! Dewey is a die hard, 4th generation Yankee fan. I love the AZ Diamondbacks, but probably couldn't name any of the players unless the haven't left the team since 2001. It was a great season when they beat the Yankees in the World Series. It was also the year Dewey and I got married... coincidence? I don't think so!
